Press Release Summary = With creative new outdoor fitness programs like the
Adventure Boot Camp program across the U.S., more women are getting outside as an
alternative to the traditional Gym or Health Club Environment.

Press Release Body = Gone are the days when getting fit only seemed to happen within
the walls of a gym or health club. With the rise in popularity of programs like
running classes, outdoor walking clubs and outdoor fitness boot camps, people now
have a variety of fun fitness alternatives to their regular gym workouts.

SWAT Adventure Boot Camp for Women, which is coming to Tucson in May, is one such
alternative to the gym scene, and is redefining how women look at themselves.
Programs like SWAT's Adventure Boot Camp helps female participants get outside,
develop healthier lifestyle habits, and give them a good reason to get up in the
morning. And for Fitness Boot Camp, that's very early in the morning!

Adventure Boot Camps, first developed by fitness expert Dr. John Spencer Ellis in
Orange County, CA in the 1990s, are known around the U.S. and abroad for innovative,
outdoor fitness programs that accommodate women of all fitness levels. Adventure
Boot Camps now exist in over 175 locations and 9 countries.

Tucson is one of the newest locations for Adventure Boot Camp, which is owned and
operated by Ron Holland, Owner of SWAT Fitness, who is known as one of the most
sought out fitness professionals in Arizona.

Although SWAT has been well known for their popular Fitness Boot Camps in Tucson for
nearly 10 years, re-structuring their program and bringing the "Adventure Boot Camp"
style to Tucson has always been a goal of the Hollands, who feel that Tucson is a
great community for good health and fitness, with a lot of potential. "We have many
clients who want to do something different and unique, and don't necessarily want to
join a gym," Holland explains. "With the growth of Vail, Sahuarita, and Oro Valley,
and the interest of the community in health and fitness, we thought the Tucson area
would be a perfect place to introduce our new Adventure Boot Camps."

"The program is appropriate for women of all ages and fitness levels, and is a good
jump-start for people who need a little motivation, and want to do something
different with their fitness program," Holland says. "We provide cutting-edge
training and sports nutrition information to help women achieve their fitness goals
in a non-intimidating, supportive setting."

A typical Boot Camp workout may include speed and agility drills, core conditioning,
walking/jogging, kickboxing, weight training, and obstacle courses, conducted in a
variety of indoor and outdoor venues.

Although Holland is a former military SWAT Commander, he isn't at all what you'd
expect. With his military and police background, people may expect to encounter a
stereotypical drill sergeant-type fitness instructor, but that isn't the case at
all, explains Jana Holland, co-owner of SWAT Adventure Boot Camps. She says that
Holland's friendly, approachable demeanor often takes people by surprise--in a good
way.

"At first, they ask questions like 'Do you yell at people?' Then when we explain a
little bit more about our program and they get to know us, they understand that
we're very non-intimidating, and that our whole program is built on positive
encouragement and group camaraderie."

SWAT's Adventure Boot Camp meets five days a week for four weeks, from 5:30 to 6:30
am in three Tucson locations. Women can choose the intensive five-day a week Monday
through Friday program, or they can select the less rigorous regimen of a three-day
per week program.
